Joanna Aviles-Jawhari is a Middle School English teacher and advisor for the BHA Post. She is passionate about helping students grow into confident readers, writers, and critical thinkers. Outside of the classroom, she enjoys traveling, taking long nature walks, spending quality time with her family, reading good books, and crocheting colorful afghans. She looks forward to supporting students as they share their voices and creativity through journalism.
